10.10 – 10.40 Paul Asquith will be performing a range of music, contemporary and traditional, on the North American Flute. A range of flutes will also be available for people to try, and if desired, purchase on the stall.

10.50 – 11.20 De-stress, Relax and Unwind with Dru Yoga Learn movement and relaxation techniques to calm, relax and create personal peace. Discover the antidote to the stress response and learn to live with greater ease. In this practical and informative workshop you will experience the Dru approach to using movement of body, mind and breath to de-stress, relax and refocus, wherever you are! Find out how research has shown Dru Yoga's effectiveness against stress in the video opposite.

12.35 – 1.05 Edwin The Crystal Harp & Tongue Drum - Sacred Sound Bath with Edwin Courtenay

The crystal harp is a modern day miracle - an instrument created from eight pure quartz crystal tubes each tuned to seven harmonic notes creating an unparalleled sound which is both soothing, relaxing and meditative. Echoing the ancient instruments of atlantis used in the fabled crystal city to restore harmony of mind, heart, body and spirit and to heal the soul. A tongue drum is an instrument made from an empty propane tank, the tank is flipped over, the base cut off and seven to ten tongues are cut radially into the bottom of the tank, forming the top of the instrument. The tongues can be tuned by the maker into various scales - Edwin’s tongue drums are tuned to the chakra scale and the mystical solfegio scale used both in healing and the manifestation of miracles! The instrument is played with the fingers or with mallets creating surprisingly beautiful bell-like tones.

In this 30 minute demonstration Edwin Courtenay – himself a sacred sound healer of many years experience – will share with all these marvellous instruments incorporating with their playing chanting, toning and singing using the ancient atlantean language – now known as egyptian hekau.

1.15 – 1.45 Performance by Helen Wilson Helen Wilson is a singer songwriter and holistic therapist based in Cheshire. Her songs contain the messages of Love, Peace and Kindness. She currently has two CD's in circulation “ In the words” and “Dare”. Merry and her three wishes, is the first of her children's books to be published. She uses her connection to the Divine, to write her stories and songs, in her therapies and in all aspects of her life. She can be found at many festivals, particularly during the summer months, sharing her songs and stories with others. Helen is passionate about teaching children to listen to their own hearts and their own knowing and hopes that through the messages in her stories children will have faith that it is entirely possible to achieve their dreams.

2.00 – 2.40 John Richardson - hypnosis: past life regression and invoking the power of the mind to heal... John’s fascinating demonstration shows you why hypnosis is nothing to fear! John Richardson has been a professional stage and clinical hypnotherapist for many years and his talks and demonstrations are packed with information and fun... Yes fun! 2.50 – 3.30 CRYSTALS TO GO A DEMONSTRATION OF CRYSTAL READING with Edwin Courtenay - Edwin is the author of 6 books the latest of which in his “To Go” series is Crystals To Go – a book that explores the healing and spiritual properties of stones and how they can be worked with for meditation, healing and spiritual progression. Today he will draw upon his 27 years experience working with crystals as well as his clairvoyant and channelling abilities to give a demonstration of Crystal Reading. Encouraging those present to choose a stone which he will interpret in order to pass on a message from the Crystal Kingdom concerning the healing and spiritual path of the individual.

3.40—4.10 Richard Spray Oraphim; Richard Spray and Michael Howe. Blue Ray Being from the Crystal realm's Blue Ray Beings are the highly sensitive souls that are empathic in their nature. They came from the diverse ascended planets and light realms to help in humanity's and Earth's ascension process. Chakra Dancing is a wonderful moving meditation to music. It is relaxing and fun at the same time and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical ability. Creative mindful meditation is deeply relaxing and relieves stress. This is a unique dance experience that takes you on a powerful yet gentle journey through your chakras to balance your energies and relieve tension and stress, leaving you feeling refreshed and focused. Meditation combined with dance is a perfect combination for creating well-being and relaxation. Great fun and a good alternative for anyone who finds traditional meditation somewhat of a challenge. In Memory of Kathleen Huddlestone who recently and peacefully passed over into Spirit on Wednesday 1st May 2019

As the founder and Co-Organiser of the Buxton Health and Healing Festival many of you will have met Kathleen over the years along with her team of SVA Crystal Healers offering taster crystal healing sessions.

Kathleen started out on Her Spiritual Pathway attending courses hosted by international author Edmund Harold who became her long term mentor and close friend. She went on to train as a Healer with the NFSH and for a while became chairperson for Region 11. This led Kathleen to opening the Natural Healing Centre In Goole East Yorkshire in 1981 and through whose doors many came and received various therapies, help or training. She took on the running of the Spiritual Ventures Association UK when Edmund Harold its founder emmigrated to Australia. From her love of crystals Kathleen was one of the pioneers of Crystal Healing in the UK leading her to set up the SVA Crystal Healing School and becoming one of the founding members of The affiliation of Crystal healing Organisations (ACHO).Kathleen and the school were members of ACHO for many years during which time hundreds of students have passed through crystal healing therapy courses training either with Kathleen or one of the many tutors under the SVA umbrella, some of whom have been inspiredly Kathleen to set up their own crystal healing schools.

Over the years Kathleen organised many weekend workshops, conferences and training courses with many well known presenters such as, Matthew Manning, Tim Wheater, DaEl walker, Sue and Simon Lilly, Soozi Holbeche, Dr Horace Dobbs, Lila Beck, Nichola Hall, to name just a few. Numerous of these weekends and workshops were held At Nunnery House in the Eden valley of cumbria a place that became like a second home to Kathleen and very close to her heart with wonderful memories for those who attended these.

Despite having Parkinsons Disease Kathleen still continued in her work with spiritual matters and was dedicated to helping others on their spiritual pathway whatever that may be and was a wealth of information and kindness to those who knew and met her.

So please join us at Buxton Health and Healing Festival to celebrate the dedication, wonderful memories and to help continue the legacy that Kathleen has left with us

May her spirit now soar free and as she would say “ Now the real work begins”
